Art Sparks Cosmic Creativity and Well-Being Program uniquely cultivates children’s imagination and creativity.

Art Sparks Cosmic Creativity and Well-Being Program breaks new ground by providing a pathway between creativity and personal growth. In this transformative art program, participants engage in a journey of discovery to understand nature and themselves. They tap into their wells of imagination, experience their connection with the Cosmos, and energize their empowerment. By helping young people experience awe, wonder, and inspiration while supporting their personal agency, the course offers an antidote to violence and yields powerful, proven results.

This integrated curriculum is designed for teachers, therapists, homeschoolers, librarians, and anyone interested in helping children develop character, confidence, and real-world skills so they can create a flourishing future. Originally designed for children ages 8-12, the program also has universal appeal for adults. The holistic program can be a twelve-week course or adapted for various timelines and venues.

Art Sparks is designed to draw out participants’ individual potential rather than to train them. The program conveys warmth, enthusiasm, and excitement; expresses interest in and respect for students; asks open-ended questions; and affirms students’ comments and participation.

By being participant-centered, emergent, and play-based, Art Sparks fosters a range of social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. In addition to imparting knowledge, the course recognizes, nurtures, affirms, and celebrates empathy, resilience, and emotional well-being. The well-being of each individual, as well as each other and nature, is supported. In this way, Art Sparks enriches teachers and participants alike.
